Zec Pontiac
Lake Ward, located in the Zec Pontiac region of Outaouais, is a popular spot for anglers targeting northern pike and lake trout (touladi). Access to the lake is facilitated by a boat launch, and a modest daily access fee of approximately $10 to $25 is required. Registration is mandatory upon entry, and visitors can also take advantage of camping or cabin options available through the ZEC. This controlled exploitation zone is managed by a local non-profit fishing association dedicated to conservation and sustainable fishing practices.
