The Rimouski Est River (Downstream) - Pool 3, located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent ZEC, is a favored spot for trout fishing. Access to this controlled exploitation zone is free, but a modest daily access fee is required. Registration at the entrance is mandatory. Anglers can also take advantage of camping or cabin options provided by the ZEC. Fishing for Atlantic salmon and striped bass remains prohibited. Modification of daily catch limit and length limit for lake trout in lac Mistigougèche, ZEC Bas-Saint-Laurent: 1 in all, less than 60 cm.
