The Rimouski Est River (Downstream) - Pool 6, located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent ZEC, is a popular spot for trout fishing. Access to this controlled exploitation zone is free, but a modest daily access fee is required, generally ranging from $10 to $25. Registration upon entry is mandatory. Anglers can also take advantage of camping or cabin options available within the ZEC. Fishing for Atlantic salmon and striped bass remains prohibited. Modification of daily catch limit and length limit for lake trout in lac Mistigougèche, ZEC Bas-Saint-Laurent: 1 in all, less than 60 cm.
