Bass Lures: The Best Lures for Bass in Quebec
We picked the lures that catch smallmouth and largemouth bass, from the easy days to the days when you need to break out the finesse tactics.
Bass is the ultimate sport fish: hard-fighting, acrobatic and often caught and released. Smallmouth bass prefer rocks and clear water; largemouth bass prefer weed beds and lily pads.
Soft plastics (Senko, Ned rig) save tough days, while crankbaits, jerkbaits and topwater lures let you cover water when the fish are active. Our selection combines both approaches.
In Quebec, bass season opens later than for other species in several zones to protect spawning: check the dates for your zone before heading out.
