The Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park, located along the Rivière des Prairies in Montreal, is a popular fishing spot. Anglers particularly favor the area near the dam, where they can catch perch, sturgeon, walleye, and shad. Although the fishing zones are shallow, ranging from 2 to 5 feet, they provide good opportunities. To access the park, head to 2425 Gouin E Blvd, where a kiosk is available in front of the welcome chalet. Be sure to check the opening hours before your visit.
